Dawson Books appoints Semantico as technology partner for econtent delivery

Dawson Books has announced a ground-breaking direct ebook delivery service, having chosen Semantico as its technology partner to develop and host a sophisticated, scaleable platform.
The new Dawson service will be available from mid-2007 with a new econtent platform initially containing books in searchable PDF format. The IT infrastructure that is now in the final stage of development and testing has potentially unlimited capacity with sophisticated digital rights management and advanced reporting facilities. It will provide Dawson and its growing number of publishing partners with a world-class ebook delivery platform that will enable all parties to optimise revenues from this increasingly important delivery channel.
