The New Grove Dictionary of Music Online
One of the world's most important and famous reference works, the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians dates in its first edition to 1878. Semantico worked with the Grove team on the release of the latest print edition in 29 volumes and the first online edition of the dictionary. The online version was published in December 2000 with the printed edition arriving in January 2001. In July 2001, under a new name grovemusic.com, the site was extended to incorporate www.groveopera.com first published online in 1999.
The Grove Dictionary of Art Online
The Grove Dictionary of Art was bought to the web in its first incarnation in 1998. The site offers access to 45,000 articles, 500,000 bibliographical citations, 86,000 cross references, 720,000 index entries and 130,000 links to images. In August 2001, the site was radically upgraded for version three and re-named as groveart.com.
Blackstone's Police Manuals Online
The online version of the Blackstone's Police Manuals 2006, the leading police reference texts in the UK, contains all four Manuals; Crime, Evidence & Procedure, Road Policing, and General Police Duties. Also including a new, online multiple-choice questions database, it is the only revision tool based directly on the content of the Blackstone's Police Manuals, and is completely up to date with the latest law and syllabus.
International Law in Domestic Courts
International Law in Domestic Courts (ILDC) is an online law reporting service focusing on the salience of international law issues before domestic courts launching in September 2006. With reporters covering over 50 countries, the service will provide key information on domestic jurisprudence relating to international legal issues.

A large collection of some of the best reference works available, Routledge Reference Resources Online currently contains two subject collections: Religion, and Politics and International Relations. Launched in December 2004, it includes content from most of the Routledge/Taylor & Francis imprints, and supports OpenURL linking and other key features for users.

The print version of this internationally respected work, The International Who's Who, was first published in 1935 and now appears every year. The online version provides a full range of search and browse functions, and regular updates of content. The International Who's Who online presents nearly 21,500 of the most distinguished men and women from almost every country in the world.

The World of Learning, the definitive guide to higher education world-wide contains details of over 30,000 universities, colleges, schools of art and music, libraries, learned societies, research institutes, museums and art galleries.
Blackwell Compass

Brill Online is a new platform containing the major reference works of this established Dutch publishing house. Currently containing the prestigious Encyclopaedia of the Qurʾān and the Encyclopaedia of Islam, other major works will be added during the coming year.
Cambridge Collections Online
Cambridge Collections Online offers subject or theme based collections of content within a richly functional, fully cross-searchable online environment.
