S3UG event 2009: Sharpen your edge in the recession
Semantico is pleased to announce details of this year’s S3UG event, which is being held on Wednesday 29 April at CABI Head Office in Wallingford.
The theme of this year’s event is sharpening your edge in the recession. In the current downturn it is important to focus on the essentials: what is the value that technology investments bring, and how can they best be used to develop and strengthen the relationships your customers have with your brand and with your products and services?
This event, featuring presentations from Semantico clients and partners, and an interactive workshop session, hopes to provide some pointers for formulating such a strategy, or for modifying an existing strategy where one already exists. The day will focus on two main themes:
Business case – How can online publishing developments best be structured to provide the strongest return on investment in short, medium and long terms? How are projects estimated across the industry? What are the new technology developments that can be harnessed to reduce upfront cost, leverage existing investment and improve ongoing cost-efficiency? How do you best ensure business continuity?
User experience – What implications does the user experience have for the future of your brand online? How can a focus on interface design and usability result in increased competitiveness? How and when should you deploy user testing?
As well as a technical update on Semantico’s products, the company will also be explaining a series of ‘crunch-busting’ new introductions to its service offering designed to help clients survive and even thrive in the current conditions.
